Privacy
A simple, practical privacy notice.
How information submitted through this website is handled.
Information we collect
When you contact Simplinity through this website, you may provide your name, company, email address, phone number, application or sourcing requirement and optional files. The hosting environment may also record basic technical logs such as IP address, browser information and request time for security, troubleshooting and normal website operation.
How information is used
Information is used to respond to enquiries, route technical or commercial requirements, prepare requested information or quotations, coordinate follow-up and maintain business records connected to the interaction. Details submitted for one enquiry should not be used for unrelated purposes without an appropriate business reason or consent.
Who may receive it
Enquiry information may be accessed by Simplinity personnel who need it for sales, application engineering, projects, service, accounts or management follow-up. Hosting, email and other service providers may process limited data only as needed to operate the website and communications. Where a principal or technology provider must be consulted for a technical requirement, sensitive project information should be shared only after the appropriate customer authorization or confidentiality process is in place.
Files, drawings and technical data
Do not upload drawings, specifications or other information that you are not authorized to share. If the requirement contains confidential intellectual property, customer drawings, controlled specifications or sensitive production information, contact Simplinity first so an appropriate confidentiality process can be established before transmission.
Retention
Website enquiry records should be retained only for as long as reasonably required to respond, support the commercial or technical relationship, satisfy record-keeping obligations and protect legitimate business interests. Records that are no longer required should be deleted or archived according to Simplinity's internal record-management practices.
Cookies and third-party services
The website may use necessary browser storage for interface behavior and may link to or embed services such as YouTube, Google Maps or analytics tools. Those providers apply their own privacy terms when you interact with their services. If non-essential analytics or advertising cookies are enabled in the future, the website should add an appropriate consent mechanism and update this notice.
Security
Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards should be used for website forms, file uploads and business communications. No internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure, so sensitive information should use an agreed secure channel where appropriate.
Your request or privacy question
To ask about website information you submitted, request correction where appropriate, or raise a privacy question, contact office@simplinity.net. Simplinity may need to verify the requester before acting on a request involving business records or personal information.
